To All AIO Patients,

While we were all hoping COVID-19 would be near its end of spreading in our region at this point,
there continues to be an increase in the number of cases in our region. Recently, PA Governor,
Tom Wolfe, implemented a mandatory mask requirement for all schools effective today, Tuesday,
September 7, 2021.

Our first priority continues to be the safety and health of our patients and employees. Based on the
current environment and recent governmental restrictions to prevent further spread of the virus,
we have reevaluated the safety measures in place at each of our locations and surgery center. The
following reflects an update to our previous guidelines as of today, Tuesday, September 7, 2021
for all AIO offices and surgery center:

  • All offices and the surgery center will be limited once again to PATIENTS ONLY.
    Anyone accompanying our patients are asked to wait in their vehicles or within a close
    proximity to the office and surgery center. If a patient needs assistance from those
    accompanying them, please inform one of our employees.
  • Per the most recent CDC Guidelines, as a healthcare facility, we are still required to ensure
    all employees, patients and visitors wear a mask when in our offices or surgery center. This
    applies to vaccinated individuals as well, according to the CDC. We ask for your continued
    cooperation with the mask wearing requirement in our offices. We will update our mask
    requirement when additional CDC guidelines are provided.
  • All patients and visitors will continue to be screened at the front desk by completing our
    COVID-19 screening questionnaire. If any patient or visitor is experiencing any COVID
    related symptoms, you will be asked to leave the office immediately and reschedule your
    visit.

Also, as a reminder, we have the Moderna vaccine available for any person over the age of 18 who
wants to receive a vaccine. We are scheduling appointments weekly at our West Mifflin office.
Vaccines are provided at NO cost to patients even if you are uninsured. Please call our main
number at 1-888-634-9800 to schedule your FREE vaccine appointment today! We also plan to
hold vaccine booster clinics once the CDC and PA Department of Health provides official
guidance on when those can be provided. Stay tuned for further announcements on booster vaccine
