Michael J. Lutz — Chief Operating Officer
Michael Lutz, Chief Operating Officer, earned his Bachelor of Science in Health Policy & Administration from The Pennsylvania State University, graduating with Distinction from the Schreyer Honors College. He furthered his education by receiving a Masters in Business Administration at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.
Mr. Lutz has been published in ophthalmic peer magazines and presented at national ophthalmology conferences on the successful implementation of laser cataract surgery. As a medical group under his guidance, AIO has seen significant growth and was voted one of Pittsburgh’s Best Places to Work in 2013 and 2014.
When not in the office, Mr. Lutz enjoys spending time with his wife and family. He is actively involved in the Yahve-Jire Children’s Foundation which supports an orphanage and school in Haiti. He and his son served on several mission trips to Haiti to work on construction of a new school and orphanage. They even hosted soccer clinics for the Haitian youth! When time allows, Mr. Lutz enjoys running marathons and attending soccer games and dance competitions with his three children.
