Dr. Stewart, Comprehensive and Pediatric Ophthalmology Services
Sara Elizabeth Stewart DO, FAOCO is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in comprehensive ophthalmology and cataract surgery. With subspecialty training in pediatric eye movement disorders and diseases, Dr. Stewart treats children the age of one and older.
As a medical and surgical doctor, she specializes in the examination, diagnosis and treatment of the following eye conditions.

Dr. Stewart spent four years as a clinical professor at the University of Pittsburgh Eye and Ear Institute. She completed an ophthalmology residency at Michigan State University, where she was appointed chief resident. Dr. Stewart also completed a subspecialty fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology at Akron Children’s Hospital. She received her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Stewart is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, a fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology, and a member of the Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus.
