Dr. Paul, Cataract and Glaucoma Services

Dr. Joshua Paul, MD is a glaucoma specialist joining the AIO team in July. He received his undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science He received his undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science.

Following his undergraduate degree, Dr. Paul earned his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. Dr. Paul completed his Glaucoma Fellowship at the University of North Carolina, under world-renowned glaucoma specialist, Donald Budenz, MD.

He completed his residency in ophthalmology at Temple University Hospital, where he was Chief Resident.

He also surpassed the record for cataract surgeries performed by a Temple resident in the program’s history. Dr. Paul has received a great deal of honors and awards, including being named an American Academy of Ophthalmology Advocacy Ambassador as well as induction into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.

He is a member of the American Glaucoma Society as well as the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the Pennsylvania Academy of Ophthalmology. He has made many meaningful contributions in research, including authoring extensive publications on glaucoma. Dr. Paul is a thoughtful and compassionate ophthalmologist with a dedication to his patients and providing them with the best possible treatment and care.
